The duo’s flawless mixing and strong grasp of dance music history always make their sets something special, especially in an extended capacity, so we thought it was only right to have them down for their first all night excursion since 2021, and certainly at the most impressive venue thus far. Slinky, bass-driven house rhythms with propulsive percussion and rapturous vocals fill the floor, leaving crowds with the unavoidable need to move their bodies. While their studio output is usually stripped back and understated, the brothers’ club sets are a different beast entirely. This record, particularly the title track, became the soundtrack to hundreds, if not thousands of closing sets and after-parties, its nostalgic tone and haunting trumpet line - courtesy of Isaac Aesili - living long in the memory of ravers from London and beyond. Having released on numerous other imprints from around the globe, they really made a splash after a chance meeting with Peckham-mainstay Bradley Zero, who subsequently released their 4-tracker ‘Midnight in Peckham’ on his iconic Rhythm Section label.
